Stronger Communities Grant Programme

Round 9 of the Stronger Communities Grants Programme are now open for expressions of interest.

Grants of between $2,500 and $20,000 are available for small capital works or small infrastructure projects.

The intended outcomes of the program are to: 

• encourage and support participation in local projects.
• improve local community participation.
• contribute to vibrant and viable communities.

Expressions of Interest will close on 5:00 PM on 27 February, and should be submitted via this online form.

Youth Empowerment Grants Program

Applications are open for the new Youth Empowerment Grants Program.

These grants are between $300,000 to $1 million. The program seeks to address the root causes of youth crime, whilst diverting young people away from the criminal justice system and towards contributing to their communities.

Eligible activities include:

• Awareness campaigns and programs to prevent criminal and anti-social behaviours.
• Healthy decision making to foster positive connections to community.
• Workforce preparation and vocational skills development.
• Youth justice conferencing.
