Chisholm Seniors & Pensioners Kit
The eastern suburbs are a truly wonderful place to call home. I’m honoured to represent this diverse, vibrant and caring community in the Federal Parliament as your Member for Chisholm.
Our seniors are at the heart of what makes Chisholm such a special place. Older Australians contribute so much to our local life – sharing their experience, volunteering their time, and helping build the strong, connected community we’re all proud of.
We are fortunate to have many excellent services here in the east to support older Australians, but I know it can sometimes be challenging to find the right information or navigate all the available options.
That’s why I’ve created this updated Chisholm Seniors & Pensioners Kit, a practical local resource designed to make it easier to connect with the support, activities and services that matter most.
I’m proud to be part of the Albanese Labor Government, which is delivering real outcomes for older Australians – putting nurses back into nursing homes, improving aged care standards, strengthening Medicare, and making medicines cheaper. We’ve also frozen the price of PBS medicines until 2030, so if you hold a concession card, the most you’ll pay for a prescription is $7.70.
The information in this booklet is accurate as of 1 October 2025, but please keep in mind that some details may change over time, so it’s always a good idea to check for the most up-to-date information.
As always, if you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact my office. My friendly team and I are always here to help.
